SHIELD SECURITY SYSTEMS FEATURED AT ESA / YOUNG SECURITY PROFESSIONALS (YSP)
IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 9, 2011
Mary and Ken Jezioro, owners of Shield Security Systems, have a lot to share. As married business partners, they navigate running three businesses, and a household with 5 children. Juggling the demands of both is a passion they are fiercely committed to. Mary and Ken are taking their story on the road next week as they present a seminar on 360 Degree Customer Service at the Young Security Professionals’ annual Fall Forum on November 17th.
The Jezioro’s had a clear vision when they met nearly 20 years ago. As a police officer and owner of Shield Security Systems of Buffalo, Ken hoped to teach others how to run a successful security business through franchising his business model. Mary Jezioro’s marketing background helped to take the SHIELD franchise model into markets nation wide. Now, both have an opportunity to share their combined knowledge and experience with young security professionals who are seeking to grow their businesses. “It’s and honor,” says Mary. “I feel that we have unique perspective because we’re married and we’ve encountered the same growing pains as other young entrepreneurs. Many young security companies are run by married couples and we hope to inspire them with our story.”
ESA Young Security Professionals (YSP) is the foremost national networking program for security industry professionals between the ages of 25 and 45 who are managers, or above, in a company that designs, sells, installs and/or monitors electronic life safety, security and/or integrated systems. The purpose of YSP is to provide education, mentoring, community and support to the industry’s next generation, cultivating these up-and-comers to be tomorrow’s leaders.
The YSP Fall Forum is a two-day executive forum, held in conjunction with an ESA Charter Chapter event or another industry event, where YSPs particpate in an agenda filled with invaluable networking opportunties, as well as educational sessions, seminars and/or panel discussions. This year’s event will be held in conjunction with the Louisianna Life Safety & Security Association, November 16th -18th, 2011. “We are delighted to join the YSP in this event,” said Ms. Jezioro.
